Kids will get to play and create with a focus on kinetic maker time activities.

Designed to help build skills related to physics and motion, there is a selection of fun art and maker activities. Kids can get hands-on with building and designing laser-cut gliders, marble run, wind tunnel, thaumatropes and scribble bots.

We think carefully about the suggested age range for our activities and they will only be appropriate for children over the age of 8 years.

·       Cost: $5 per child

·       Bookings and class size: maximum 12 children – bookings are essential

·       Suitable for: ages 8-12 years.

Parents are required to sign their child in and out of the makerspace and stay in the library while their child participates in the session.

We aim to host inclusive and accessible events. If you have any particular access or communication needs please contact programs coordinator Nima Afshar, on 02 9245 1503 or nafshar@cityofsydney.nsw.gov.au
