Learn the basics of Adobe Creative Suite to create a personalised rubber stamp in the Darling Square Makerspace.

Do you have a logo or design you would like to make into a stamp? Rubber stamps are a great way to brand or personalise your products and creations.

Led by experienced facilitators in the Darling Square Library Makerspace, this workshop is a great introduction to laser cutting using Adobe CS software.

You will be guided to create a stamp design using your own logo or design. Once you’re happy with your final design, we’ll laser cut it for you.

You’ll receive your rubber stamp design during the class. You can add a 3D printed handle and your stamp is ready for action!

What you’ll learn

  • Basic digital design using Adobe Creative Suite

  • Basic laser cutting skills

What you’ll take home

  • 1 x laser cut rubber stamp (maximum size 6 x 6 cm)

  • 1 x 3D printed stamp handle

  • If your design is not ready by the end of the workshop, you can collect it from the library after the workshop

  • A high contrast image for your stamp - you can bring a logo, drawing or design (digital copy preferred)

  • A USB thumb drive to save your files at the end of the workshop
