School holiday skateboarding clinics for kids

Where
408 Sydney Park Rd
Erskineville NSW 2043
Australia
When

Thursday 18 July from 9:30am to 11:45am

Join Skate Now's legendary school holiday skateboarding clinics at Sydney Park.

Perfect for ages 5-13, our fun and expert-led sessions are designed to boost beginners and elevate intermediate riders. Our popular program is based on graduated learning, skill development, and most importantly, fun!

Our enthusiastic team of instructors are experts at teaching the steps involved in learning to ride safely, in ways kids can easily understand and follow. We support students as they build their skills at their own pace, gain confidence, learn ‘skate etiquette,’ and make friends along the way.

We provide boards and protective gear, but if your child has their own, we advise bringing it along (note: we will need to check their equipment is suitable).

Schedule for the day

  • 9:30am-10:30am Session #1 - Beginner to advanced beginner

  • 10:45am-11:45am Session #2 - Beginner to Intermediate

Beginner Sessions - These sessions are suited for skaters who are just starting out or have a few basic skills under their belt.

Intermediate Sessions - Suited for kids who have a grasp of the basics and are ready to learn more progressive moves such as ollies, pop shuvs, kickflips and boardslides.

Waiver - All participants will need to complete prior to taking part in our program.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q. What happens if it rains?

A. If we need to cancel due to weather, the decision will be made by 7:30am on the morning of the event and you will be notified by email ASAP.

Q. How many students will be in each group?

A. Maximum group size is 15 students. We will have 2-3 accredited instructors assigned to each group.

A. A drink, skateboard and protective gear (if your child has their own).

Q. What age group is this program for?

A. These clinics are open to all students aged 5 – 13 Years.

Q. Is there parking?

A. Yes, there is parking available onsite at Sydney Park Skatepark and street park on Sydney Park Rd. We recommend arriving a bit early as the skatepark can get busy during the school holidays

A. Please contact us if you can't make it anymore and we will get back to you ASAP. Our email address is skatenow@outlook.com.au
