Influenced by rock and roll, 90s animation and the iconic pop artists of the 60s and 70s, Ruby’s work is bright and expressive, and draws on her varied career experience of creative direction, visual merchandising, signwriting and fashion design.

Consumerism, self identity and nostalgia are recurring themes for Ruby’s art, all served with a healthy dose of satire and humor to ensure the existential crisis is always served with a smile.

Step back in time to a fluro lit 90s supermarket at her second solo show Thank You, Come Again where every emotion, encounter and human experience has a price tag and is readily available for your pleasurable consumption.
