The 4th Australia and New Zealand Refugee Trauma Recovery in Resettlement Conference is a bi-national, sector-leading conference focused on refugee trauma recovery and resettlement practice, policy, research, and lived experience.

It brings together practitioners, researchers, community leaders, and government stakeholders from across Australia, New Zealand, and beyond. Registrations and abstract submissions are now open, and we encourage anyone working with humanitarian migrants or trauma-informed care to submit!

The conference takes place over three days, May 4th-6th 2026, at the ICC. The first day is comprised of half and full day workshops, while the latter two have the more standard format of plenaries followed by concurrent sessions. There will be a welcome reception on the evening of May 4th, and a conference dinner on May 5th.
