Redfern and Waterloo Art Bus

Join us for a tour of selected art galleries in the inner Sydney suburbs of Redfern and Waterloo.
We begin our journey at Sabbia Gallery to view Verticale, an exhibition that reimagines glass, ceramic and fibre-based works, breaking away from the traditional perception of these mediums as plinth based.
A vast and eclectic array of artwork awaits us as our next stop: Artbank. An Australian Government intiative to support the contemporary art sector, the Artbank collection includes more than 10,000 works across a range of media, including painting, sculpture, video and photography, which are leased to individuals, companies and governments at all levels.
We conclude our tour at Cooee Art Leven to view the exhibition Wumera Nangamay: A Salt Lake Series by Konstantina, a Gadigal woman of the Eora nation who is passionate about her language, culture and histories. Her practice is a form of storytelling and reclamation, exploring her connection to Country.
