RAICES flamenco show

RAICES (ROOTS) will take you on a journey of looking into the roots of flamenco. Lauren will bring this to life using various familiar and exhilarating ‘palos’ or different music forms within flamenco and her own personal connection with flamenco.
Through her own journey, connection with her Spanish heritage and love of this art form since a very young age, Lauren continues to develop and evolve her own unique style which incorporates both the eloquence and precision from the central Spain areas and the more grounded, fierier gypsy style from the south.
Brining you a brand-new flamenco show to the heart of Sydney, RAICES is sure to be an inspiring evening taking you to the heart of flamenco. Intricate footwork, rhythm, fierceness, passion, bold yet elegant. With a line-up of talented Australian and Spanish musicians, you will be sure to not be disappointed. Joining Lauren Majarrés (Flamenco Dancer) on stage will be Zoe Vélez (Voice), Byron Mark (Percussion) and on guitar, Special Guest Paco Lara (Jerez, Spain).
