On Sunday November 3rd, the vibrant plus size community will gather once again for the highly anticipated Plus Size Clothing Market, hosted by Radically Soft. Now in its fifth iteration, this event will take place at the Sydney Portugal Community Club in Marrickville, offering a day filled with fashion, community, and empowerment.

Radically Soft, a trailblazing collective dedicated to prioritising marginalised bodies and holding space for fat bodies, is Sydney's first plus-size market for both preloved and new fashion. The initiative was born from a desire to make plus-size clothing accessible and affordable, while addressing the limitations in ethical fashion for the plus-size inclusivity. The market is not just about clothing; it’s about building a supportive community that celebrates marginalised bodies and circular fashion.

• Sustainability: Emphasising slow fashion and circular fashion economy, as often clothing and brands that are size inclusive aren’t necessarily sustainable or financially accessible, leading to the reliance on fast fashion.

Attendees can expect a diverse range of stalls featuring plus-size fashion, accessories, and unique finds from independent sellers and local small businesses. The event also supports more ethical fashion options by encouraging the buying and selling of preloved clothing, contributing to a more sustainable future. 

On top of all the amazing clothing stalls, this volume of Radically Soft will also feature Hair by Alan offering free mini-cuts to fat babes, Sew What providing clothing alterations, Reunion Store who will value and buy softly worn clothes you no longer love, and a DJ serving up some killer vibes whilst you shop.
