Sydney Queer board gamers and allies

Inaugural board games day for Sydney Queer board gamers and allies.  

Bring a board game, meet some people and have some fun. You can schedule a game in the Aftergame app ahead of time and find people to play with. It's an opportunity to play some of those heavier board games that you otherwise struggle to get people together for. Lighter/party games are also fine too, we all like a palate cleansers between bigger games. 

No food or drink will be sold on location, there are food joints and a supermarket in the area. 

No cost for this one but there may be a cost for future events to cover venue fees. 

There will be a games library too which might be managed through aftergame, I may put up a board game geek list and requests could be made for games to bring along.

Venue is accessible and wheel chair friendly

You don't need to turn up at 10am or stay until 4pm, feel free to rock in and out

Event is open for general public, please be respectful.

 Code of conduct

- Manners maketh the... person. Rude, demanding or uncouth behaviour is frowned upon and persons exhibiting it will politely, but firmly, be made to leave.

- This is a geek and queer positive group. If someone mocks your hobby/identity, no matter how geeky, we will ban them. This also means that none shall be mocked for not being "geeky enough" or "a real gamer" and the like. There's no minimum geekiness or queerness to enjoy the event.

 - If someone uses this event to stalk, harass or otherwise bother you we will ban them, so please let us know.
