Bigger lineup. Bigger dance floor. More performances. More community. More joy.

Join us for an unforgettable night celebrating queer African and South Asian creativity through music, dance, culture and connection, all while raising funds for our Community Care Fund, helping make culturally responsive mental health support more accessible for people experiencing financial barriers.

Whether you're coming to dance all night, meet new people, celebrate your culture, or simply be in a room where you don't have to explain who you are, this space was created for you.

Cultured queer royalty!

Royalty. Club Kid. Cultural glam. Queer hotness.

Come as you are.

Come with your people.

Come ready to feel seen and shake ass.

Why we created Queer Afro-Desi Dynasty

Queer Afro-Desi Dynasty was born from the absence of spaces where all parts of our identities could exist together.

Too often, queer spaces haven't felt culturally familiar, while cultural spaces haven't always felt safe for queerness.

Many of us have felt like we had to leave parts of ourselves at the door.

This night is about changing that.

Through Umeed Psychology and The Third Place, we've spent years creating spaces where people feel seen as whole people. This event is an extension of that work, where celebration becomes wellbeing, visibility becomes healing, and joy becomes resistance.

This isn't just a party.

It's a space to reconnect with culture, community and yourself.

Every ticket supports something bigger

Every ticket contributes directly to our Community Care Fund, helping provide subsidised, culturally responsive mental health support and community programs for people facing financial hardship.

So while you're dancing, you're also helping someone else access support they may not otherwise receive.

Accessibility

If you have any access needs, please share them in your booking form so we can support you.

House rules

Kindness first. All cultures, identities and allies welcome!

No hate speech, racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, ableism, or harassment. All our events are LGBTQIASB+ friendly!

We reserve the right to pause any performance and remove any people that breaches our community guidelines.
