Handsome Tours presents the return of London-based sonic outfit Public Service Broadcasting, bringing their powerful, cinematic live show back to Australia this May with a special Sydney performance.

Since emerging in 2009, Public Service Broadcasting, led by instrumentalist-auteur J. Willgoose, Esq., have forged a singular musical identity, transforming archival narratives into rousing, emotionally resonant works that blend post-rock, electronics and orchestral grandeur.

Across a celebrated catalogue including Inform-Educate-EntertainThe Race For SpaceEvery ValleyBright Magic, the spectacular BBC Proms recorded This New Noise, and their most recent release The Last Flight, the band have explored human endeavour, collective memory and the restless urge to push beyond known limits.

Sonically rich and emotionally expansive, Public Service Broadcasting’s music evokes motion, risk and wonder — from propulsive hymns of flight to moments of haunting stillness. Their meticulous storytelling and immersive performances elevate history into something urgent, vivid and deeply human.

Renowned for their visually arresting live shows and their ability to turn historical narratives into shared, communal experiences, Public Service Broadcasting’s Sydney return promises an unforgettable encounter — one that is awe-inspiring, moving and exhilarating in equal measure.
