Psycho or Psychic

I am psychic... I grew up thinking I'm psychotic.

Built from true encounters with spirits, we follow Luna, who grows up believing everyone can see what she sees. 

Through physical theatre, character clowning, and comedy, Luna’s inner world becomes visible. Characters emerge, contradictions collide, the boundaries between the seen and unseen begin to blur, and belonging arrives. 

Playful, chaotic, and unexpectedly tender. You may find yourself laughing at something ridiculous, then noticing a feeling of connection arrive.

Bio

Sarah Francis is a regional Western Australian artist creating original work across physical theatre, clown, movement and live performance. She holds a Bachelor of Arts (Dance) from WAAPA and creates theatrical encounters that invite audiences into laughter, curiosity and genuine human connection.

In 2026 she created and toured her original solo work Psycho or Psychic nationally through Perth, Adelaide, Newcastle, Melbourne and Sydney, and provided movement direction and performed in Terra Nullius EMBODIED with Selfless Orchestra. In 2025 she trained at École Philippe Gaulier, performed ALL IN with Dance Makers Collective for Sydney Festival, and toured nationally as Assistant Director and Production Manager for Smile: The Story of Charlie Chaplin.
