Discover sustainable printmaking in this hands-on course for beginner and continuing students.
Under the guidance of an experienced tutor, you’ll explore contemporary non-toxic etching processes using aluminium plates and biodegradable solutions to create line, tone and texture in your designs.
Throughout the course, you’ll learn the fundamentals of etching and produce a series of original, limited-edition prints to take home.
All materials including inks and paper are provided.
This course takes place on Thursdays over 4 weeks:
Week 1: 5 February, 6pm to 8:30pm
Week 2: 12 February, 6pm to 8:30pm
Week 3: 19 February, 6pm to 8:30pm
Week 4: 26 February, 6pm to 8:30pm
Intimate class size: maximum 8 students
Level: beginner to intermediate students 18+yrs
Wear: comfortable clothing and enclosed shoes
Bring: yourself – all materials provided
