Printmaking skills & expansion workshop with Katika Schultz

When

Sunday 24 November from 9am to 5pm

Printmaking has a way of reframing our creativity, allowing chance and experimentation to push our boundaries and set us up to be pleasantly surprised. Join local artist Katika Schultz to explore a range of accessible printmaking mediums, create hybrid prints and walk away with a stack of your own beautiful creations.

This one day workshop is designed to push your ideas, expand your practice into printmaking and help creatives loosen up and have fun. You will discover new mediums to introduce into your existing practice, whether or not you have access to a printing press.

You will explore monotype, etching, origami monoprint and eucalyptus transfer, among other techniques. Each process is shown and explained and then you are guided through each stage with the option to combine different techniques for different effects.

Classes are kept small and intimate in order for each student to benefit fully from their experience in the class. There will be opportunity to ask questions and discover new ways of making.

Morning tea and all materials are included.
