Love printmaking but hate the mess? Looking for a more eco-friendly way to make prints?
Come and learn some traditional printmaking techniques with a modern twist making them more accessible to everyone! Printmaking press or no press, this technique can be achieved in the studio or at home.
You can create your own matrix or find a re-use item to press into your paper. Learn how to:
Create colour and texture without ink using paper.
Make multiple prints without ink using re-use materials.
Utilise a variety of matrixes to create different effects with and without a printmaking press
Print without any toxic substances (eco and health friendly)
Use traditional chine-colle techniques to create colour and texture
Bea Buckland-Willis (she/they) is a Sydney based artist, with a passion for all things print. In 2020 they completed a Bachelor of Fine Arts at the National Art School (AUS), majoring in Printmaking. Their work has been showcased at art spaces including; The Cutaway (Barangaroo), AIRspace (Marrickville), Artsite (Camperdown) and 321 Project Space (Surry Hills).
