In Poland it is customary to gather and celebrate the Christmas season with the uplifting singing of Christmas Carols known as Polskie Kolędy in Poland.

The Polish Club/ Klub Polski Ashfield “Polskie Kolędy” is a free concert held each Sunday during December.

  • Sunday 1, 15, & 22 December 2024, 3-4pm

  • Sunday 8 December 2024, 2-3pm in conjunction with Polish Folkloric Dance Ensemble "Syrenka".

The concert will be led by guest singers and musicians from the community, who will sing several traditional Polish Christmas carols inviting the audience to join in.

Some favourite carols include:

  • Przybieżeli do Betlejem

  • Wśród nocnej ciszy

  • Lulajże Jezuniu

  • Bóg się rodzi
