Join celebrated Australian pianist and member of The Necks, Chris Abrahams, as he tunes into the richly sonic resonance of historic Elizabeth Bay House. The grand architecture, magnificent domed saloon, and sweeping staircase of this space offer a tantalisingly close and intimate musical experience.

Within this iconic Sydney home, with its stories of layered occupancy, shared through the entrancing and expressive sounds of the acoustic piano and extraordinary improvisation, Chris coaxes a mesmerising and meditative world of sound, demonstrating his formidable musical skills.

Chris is the master of expressing the beauty amidst space and sound. Do not miss this second performance of the Piano+Place series, curated by Jim Moginie from Midnight Oil and Ross Heathcote.

Presented by Piano+, supported by City of Sydney
