Hotel Harry

Tuesday 4 April 2023 from 6pm to 7pm

People and tech must work hand in hand to enable the future.

In a world of rising customer expectations, the need for companies to stay ahead of the competition has never been more critical. However, is tech innovation in Australia doing all that it can?

Mina, who has worked at Uber and Google, explores how companies build products and what is holding Australians back from seizing job opportunities in tech.

Recently pioneering an entirely new product category for the real estate industry, Mina unpacks why people and tech must work hand in hand for tangible change.

Mina is a business school dropout, but graduated with a degree in Computer and Cognitive Science from Cornell University. She joined Uber as its 20th employee, where she developed the business across various car types, into international expansion and surge pricing.

She has also held various operational and advisory roles at Modcloth, Google, Goldman Sachs, AirTasker and in venture capital firms.

Mina is a Board Member of Tech Council of Australia and the co-founder and co-CEO of :Different, which is rebuilding property management.

Also speaking at Harry's at 8:00PM is Professor Steve Wise
