Let the ethereal sound of traditional Japanese koto music set the scene during your visit to Hiroshi Sugimoto: Time Machine, performed in-gallery by Ousiyu Luo.

Free with exhibition entry.

Ousiyu Luo

From the age of 5, Ousiyu Luo has been a practising zheng musician. The zheng is a 21-string zither instrument. She became the first Bachelor of Music (Historical Performance) majoring in zheng at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music and holds Advanced Teacher and Social Arts qualifications from the China Conservatory of Music. Luo is a member of the Koto Music Institute of Australia, which creates and presents works using the instrument, including for film and theatre.
