Off the Record: Youth Week acoustic sessions

Picture cosy, underground jazz clubs and intimate acoustic performances where you can experience the rise of tomorrow's next big artists from the very beginning.

Whether you’re a die-hard music lover, a casual listener or just curious about Sydney’s creative scene, Off the Record is your chance to break away from the mainstream and add new songs to your playlist, while supporting local passionate young creatives.

What to expect

• Live acoustic performances across multiple genres – from soft melodies to rap

• The chance to discover rising talent before they hit the big stage (you might spot the next Aussie Beabadoobee!)

• Free gourmet food – we're serving quality food to accompany live performances, not just complementary pizza

• A mood-lit, laid-back remodel — from daytime café to acoustic live music spot after dark

This event is free for young people aged 16 to 24 who live, work, study or play in the City of Sydney’s area. It’s designed and presented by young creatives from the City of Sydney’s youth opportunities program as part of Youth Week in the City. Limited tickets available, registrations essential.
