The National Basketball League (NBL), together with TEG Live, is delighted to announce that six-time NBA champion, Scottie Pippen will return to Australia for an epic speaking tour along with his championship winning Chicago Bulls teammates, Luc Longley and Horace Grant.
The ‘No Bull’ tour, presented by Coca-Cola Europacific Partners will begin on Friday 23 February in Tasmania, before heading to Melbourne and Sydney.
The trio, which played with Chicago in the 90s and won three championships, will reunite Down Under and pull the curtain back on some of the most amazing stories and memories with the world beating Bulls – arguably one of the greatest teams ever assembled on a basketball court.
Hosted by actor and entertainer, Shane Jacobson, the ‘NO BULL’ tour will present Aussie basketball fans a once in a lifetime opportunity to get unprecedented access to what it was like playing with Michael Jordan, being coached by mastermind Phil Jackson, the adversity faced during the championship years and more.
Pippen, a Hall Of Famer, named in the NBA top 50 & 75 players of all-time, a 7-time NBA All-Star, 3-time All-NBA first team member, 8-time NBA All-Defensive first team member and 2-time Olympic Gold Medal winner (1992 and 1996), returns to Australia after launching the NBL season in September as the League’s official ambassador.
Grant was key to Chicago’s success and was a member of the championship teams from 1991-1993. He was named an NBA All-Star in 1994 as a member of the Orlando Magic, made the All-Defensive Second Team four times, and added a fourth title in 2001 with the Los Angeles Lakers.
Longley is an Australian basketball legend and three-time NBA champion with the Bulls and paved the way for Australians to the NBA.
