Sydney-based, multi-disciplinary artist MUNGMUNG transports you into a world of authentic creativity through her bold aesthetic, powerful vocals and infectious melodies. MUNGMUNG delivers unmatched live energy with lyrics that pay tribute to the hip-hop greats.
MUNGMUNG’s debut single ‘Missed Calls’ was met with excitement by listeners worldwide. In 2022 the single was followed by acclaimed debut EP MAIN CHARACTER, produced by Taka Perry. MUNGMUNG’s recent singles, ‘BBE’ and ‘MEDICINE’ mark the beginning of her debut album, BOUJEE BBY, with special artist features to be announced.
With plays on FBi Radio, triple j and MTV, as well as features on curated Spotify and Apple Music playlists, MUNGMUNG tracks are making waves.
MUNGMUNG performed her first headline show in 2022, along with her band. The year has also seen MUNGMUNG support Ngaiire, Taka Perry, Chelsea Warner, BOYSODA, Safety Club, Pyjama Sundayz and Abby Bella May. MUNGMUNG recently played at MATES Festival in Newcastle and was among the stellar line-up at 2022’s BIGSOUND.
