Much Ado About Nothing by William Shakespeare, presented by sweet creatures.

It’s the week before Christmas on the South Coast. So Fresh Summer Hits is playing from the stereo. Cicadas hum, and someone’s set up the stumps for backyard cricket.

Beatrice and Benedick are home from the city for the holidays, trading jabs while sparks fly. Love stories tangle over pav and beach bonfires until rumours and meddling friends turn the celebration upside down.

In this popular romantic comedy that has captivated audiences for centuries, we follow two couples’ unconventional love stories. Beatrice and Benedick swear they will never marry as their friends scheme to push the sparring pair together, while Claudio and Hero’s happy ever after is threatened by a vicious lie.

Set in the warmth and humour of an Australian summer, sweet creature’s reimagination of Shakespeare’s Much Ado About Nothing delivers seasonal mischief and laughter.

Join us for some silly season fun!
