Imagine a world where sports and fitness are inclusive of all. The Move8 VR Walk-a-Hunt is a part of the AFT International Sports & Fitness Festival and wants to foster Friendship, Diversity, Equity & Inclusion in Sport, Fitness and Wellness.
Will you take up the challenge and see if you can solve the nuggets of clues left along the way? A 3-KM route awaits with clues planted along the streets of Sydney's Chinatown, famed for delicious Yum Cha brunches, cream puffs, fruit and vegetable markets to curio, fashion and jewellery shops. Streets named Hay, Dixon, Sussex, Goulburn make up the boundaries of this 100-year-old gem of a district. A part of the AFT International Sports Fitness Festival, the walk takes place on Saturday 21 September 2024 in collaboration with City of Sydney’s Sydney Streets Haymarket where selected streets of Sydney's Chinatown will be closed off to traffic for a "bloc party"!
What can you expect from the Move8 VR Walk-a-Hunt?
Walk in-person and unravel the clues and missions on-site in Sydney’s Chinatown, or
Journey with someone via an immersive 360° film for a VR experience. You don't need VR goggles, just a device with internet connection via YouTube.

When: 21 September 2024 from 11am – 5pm
Venue: Starting point Community Bank Darling Square Branch – Bendigo Bank, Shop NE12 11 Little Pier Street, Haymarket NSW 2000.
Route duration: 3KM

The Move8 VR Walk-a-Hunt is co-created by Sydney-based producer and director Jasmine H. Low and Kuala Lumpur-based producer Nikki Yeo. Participants are invited to join in the in-person experience touring Sydney's Chinatown in Haymarket on 21 September 2024 and circumnavigate Kuala Lumpur's second tallest tower, Menara Merdeka 118 Precinct and Kuala Lumpur's Chinatown on 3 November 2024.
