Mothership is excited to present the 3rd edition of Hands-On: a series of workshops for creative inspiration and self-reliance.

Taught entirely by artists and makers within the Mothership community, Hands-On is for adults who want to keep learning but haven’t been able to find the right environment. Hands-On is subsidized by Mothership to offer an accessible price point for all.

Strangers in Print by Always Friends © is a collaborative zine-making workshop centred on chance. No skills or materials required, just bring yourself and an open mind and take home a unique zine.

Hands on With Kasama Studio. Drop by to make a pinch pot and shop for small batch ceramics at Kasama Studio by Ria Desiree. Kasama means ‘together’ or ‘companion’ in Tagalog – a fitting word to describe its founding ethos of building community through clay.

Supplementing these workshops are: the annual Zine Spooktacular and the exhibition Spineless by visual artist and writer Sophie Cox, who examines the relationship between everyday life and societal issues through depictions of the humble invertebrate.
