Shangri-La Sydney’s pastry team have lovingly created a delightful assortment of tantalising treats to guarantee the sweetest day. Think lemon meringue tarts with yuzu curd and toasted meringue, strawberry layered mousse cake with vanilla genoise and rose petals, and red velvet cake with crème fraîche frosting and aniseed myrtle.
She’ll also enjoy a enticing selection of savoury delights, including roast chicken breast sandwiches with thyme and mustard, Roma tomato and basil pesto on charcoal focaccia, alongside lamb and rosemary pies and traditional winter vegetable Cornish pasties.
Of course, it wouldn’t be a Mother’s Day High Tea without the quintessential buttermilk scones, served with clotted cream and house-made jam.

Mother’s Day High Tea Buffet is available on Sunday 12 May in two seating times, from 11am – 1pm or 2pm – 4pm.
