Saturday 13 September from 11am to 12:30pm Saturday 15 November from 11am to 12:30pm
Get up close and personal with the Centennial Parklands bees!
Join one of our resident beekeepers from Rooftop Bees and get suited up in this unique behind the scenes experience. You’ll get an introduction to bees and the important role they play in the environment and food security.
You’ll then get changed into a beekeeping suit and step into the apiary to see inside a real beehive and get to hold frames of bees and honey.
Depending on your chosen tour, you can either join the Honey Tasting Tour, where you’ll sample a variety of honeys from across Sydney, or the Candle-Making Tour, where you’ll roll two beeswax candles to take home.
