When

Saturday 1 March from 4pm to 7pm

It is a free event therefore, we encourage you to arrive slightly earlier than 4pm to secure your spot!

Sydney’s favourite time of year is here, and Mee So is the place to get the party started before the Sydney Gay & Lesbian Mardi Gras Parade! Just moments from Oxford Street, we’re turning up the heat with fierce drag performances, DJs, and exclusive Mardi Gras cocktails.

No bookings, no fuss – just great vibes, great drinks, and all the fun before the big parade.

Eat, Drink & Get Festive

Mardi Gras celebrations call for good food and even better drinks. Our à la carte menu will be available on the night, alongside two limited-time Mardi Gras cocktails (or mocktails, if that’s more your style):

  • Lava Lady – Gin, Lemon, Chilli Grenadine

  • Carnival Crush – Tequila, Blue Curacao, Midori, Grenadine, Orange Juice & Lemonade

Drag Queens & DJs Bringing the Energy

From 4pm – 7pm, the Mee So stage belongs to the queens and DJs:

  • Karna Ford – Star of RuPaul’s Drag Race Down Under Season 4

  • Hosted by Champagne X

  • Melissa Grace & DJ Mantana spinning beats all night long

Located inside ibis Styles Sydney Central, Mee So is right in the heart of the Mardi Gras action. Whether you’re pre-gaming before hitting Oxford Street or settling in for a night of celebrations, this is the place to be.

Bookings not essential – just bring your Mardi Gras spirit and suggest to get in early.
