Kids will get to play and create with the latest makerspace kits and electronic gadgets in these free fortnightly sessions in the Darling Square Library makerspace.

Kids can get hands-on with our makerspace kits, including Spheros and Ozobots or battle it out with our Edison robots. They’ll also get to make things that fly in our wind tube, build a marble run or light up LEDs using conductive tape. Enjoy different activities each fortnight designed to help build digital and making skills.

  • Suitable for: Kids aged 8-12 years

  • Experience level: no prior making experience required

We think carefully about the suggested age range for our activities and this workshop is only appropriate for children over the age of 8 years.
