There is something quite lovely about a father-daughter art exhibition, isn’t there?
They are quite different in medium and intention, of course, yet they sit soulfully alongside each other. The work of a man in his 70s (drawings on paper), taking his demons for a walk; and a woman in her mid-30s (photography) opening her sensibility to actual life in a remote Aboriginal community.
In an era when the world seems to going to hell in a hand-bucket, a little symbol of creative fruitfulness.
