Liz Coats: Essence

Liz Coats has a long career as an abstract painter exploring the perception of colour relationships, and in this exhibition she has been using traditional botanical pigments.

The painting surfaces shimmer with colour and texture. There is a movement of waves of colour overlapping and dancing over the surface.
