Live at the Great: James Morrison acoustic

Experience Australia's beloved 'Genius of Jazz' James Morrison up close and personal at the Great.

Our international musical icon has played before royalty and Presidents, and been awarded many accolades including ARIA awards. He has performed at all the major jazz festivals and regularly plays at the world's most famous jazz clubs such as Birdland, the Blue Note, and Village Vanguard.

James has also written and performed his own concerto with the Tonkünstler Orchestra at the Musikverein in Vienna and has appeared as a guest with the Berlin Philharmonic, the Czech National Symphony Orchestra at the Prague Proms and many more of the world’s major orchestras. We will be treated to his unique multi-instrumental virtuosity over a range of smooth as silk classics.

The James Morrison Quartet will present swinging jazz standards, sublime ballads, and haunting Latin numbers with a few surprised thrown in.
