This workshop is open to the community. It’s designed for residents, volunteers or people studying in the City of Sydney’s area.

You’ll gain an understanding of sexual, domestic, family and gender-based violence, how it can be prevented, and how to have safe supportive conversations. You’ll also learn where to get help for people impacted.

Over the session you will learn how to:

  • identify drivers of gender-based violence that impact LGBTQ+ communities

  • identify and respond to drivers of violence and strategies to contribute to change

  • demonstrate being a compassionate responder to people experiencing or using violence

  • apply self-care and self-support strategies in day-to-day life and practice.

Applications essential by Monday 12 June, 9am.
