Join us at the Art Gallery of New South Wales this August for our new Learning Curve lecture series: Modern art, modern love.
Kate Kangaslahti explores four different creative partnerships – Wassily Kandinsky and Gabriele Münter, Robert and Sonia Delaunay, Frida Kahlo and Diego Rivera, and Georgia O’Keeffe and Alfred Steiglitz – and examines the way desire, intimacy, mutual influence and experimentation collided in the development of modern art.
Each lecture will be held on Friday and repeated on Saturday in the Domain Theatre. Each session includes a 15-minute intermission, during which tea and coffee will be provided in the Domain Theatre foyer.
