Friday 21 July 2023 from 7:30pm to 10pm
Calling all K-Pop fans and indie music enthusiasts. A brand new K-Indie Music Festival is debuting in Sydney on July 21 with some of the biggest Korean indie artists. Just like K-Pop, this new genre of music is taking the global music industry by storm with a diverse expression of sounds and a fresh wave of talent.
Headlining the Festival is South Korean charting singer-songwriter CHEEZE, who skyrocketed to fame after appearing on popular K-drama soundtracks. She’s since established herself as a popular solo artist, having sold out solo concerts within minutes. You’ll also fall in love with South Korean artist So Soo Bin’s sweet tunes, which blend blues-style acoustics with R&B pop.
Joining the Korean artists on stage are two fresh Korean-Australian indie musicians. Rising star JYLPO defies genre boundaries with his avant-garde approach to music, while Peace Kwon’s beats combine the chill vibes of Sydney with the buzzing city nightlife of South Korea.
Discover the diversity of Korean music at Sydney’s first K-Indie Music Festival at the Manning Bar on Friday July 21 at 7:30pm. Tickets are only $15, so secure your tickets NOW!
