SquarePeg Studios presents workshops and interactive events exploring jewellery and object making as a context for cultivating creative thinking for people of all ages.
Crafting Connections kids and adults workshop: Presented by well-known local jeweller Melanie Ihnen, youths and their adults are invited to come together for Crafting Connections, a fun workshop where participants create with various metals and recycled materials. Suited to children from 10 years accompanied by an over 16-year-old.
Material Happiness one-day workshop: Presented by award-winning sculptor & jeweller Margarita Sampson. A gentle workshop remembering how to collectively play. Artists of any discipline can blow away the cobwebs and explore some fresh and fun perspectives on making using recycled materials. Suited to participants over 16 years.
