Japanese Kimono Competition

Saturday 14 December from 11am to 2pm

1st Round 12pm / 2nd Round 2pm/ Final Round 3pm

Immerse yourself in the timeless beauty of the kimono, a symbol of grace and elegance that transcends cultures.

This event is not only for traditional dressers – cosplay styles and unique arrangements are also welcome.

Join us to enjoy the kimono world with their family, friends, and lovers!

  • Winners will be chosen by judges. They will receive big prizes including a return flight ticket to Japan, Japanese restaurant meal vouchers, Kinokuniya book vouchers and more!

  • Also, we organize excellent kimono photos by professional photographers.

  • Enter the kimono competition to receive free entry to the Japan Expo!

Kimono Competition Program:

  • 1st Competition: 12pm to 12:30pm. Theme: Original design kimono.

  • 2nd Competition: 2pm to 2:30pm. Theme: Kimono with props (kasa, fan, accessories, etc).

  • Final Competition: 3pm to 3:30pm.
