Inner West Bird Fest

Inner West Bird Fest is a community celebration of urban birdlife, inviting locals of all ages to get outside, learn a little and connect with the birds (and bird lovers) in their neighbourhood.

The festival features a vibrant program of mostly free and beginner-friendly events – from guided bird walks and an art market to talks, clean-ups, movie night, and more. Whether you're a seasoned birder or just curious, Inner West Bird Fest is all about connecting with nature and fostering a love for our local feathered friends.

This event is proudly hosted by Sydney Bird Club, an inclusive, community-driven passion project that believes birding is for everyone. We celebrate local birdlife through shared curiosity, creativity and connection with nature.
