When

Wednesday 5 July 2023 from 6:30pm to 7:30pm

Join Peter Cooley, CEO of IndigiGrow, to learn about local Aboriginal culture, connection to country and caring for country through endangered native plants & bush foods.

IndigiGrow are 100% Aboriginal owned, run and staffed not for profit native plant nurseries based in La Perouse, who focus on training & employment of young Aboriginal people.

Peter will share his story including vital work reviving the critically endangered Eastern Suburbs Banksia Scrub (ESBS) which is Sydney's original coastal plant community. With less than 3% remaining, _IndigiGrow _is leading the way teaching young apprentices and educating the wider community about the importance of ESBS and a sustainable healthy environment.
