Join us for a powerful conversation on the opening weekend of Warraba Weatherall: Shadow and Substance, the Kamilaroi artist’s first solo museum exhibition.

Acclaimed artist Warraba Weatherall sits down with journalist and broadcaster Daniel Browning (Bundjalung / Kullilli) to discuss his research into the acquisition and display of Indigenous cultural materials in museums – from the 19th century to today.

Learn more about his inspirations, creative process and the debut of Trace, a major new work co-commissioned by the MCA and the Hawai’i Triennial 2025.

Followed by a Q&A. Tickets include exhibition entry.
