Saturday 28 September from 2pm to 3pm
Join a discussion between Sir Isaac Julien, one of Britain’s most influential and critically acclaimed artists, and Daniel Browning, who hosts ABC Radio National’s The Art Show and leads the ABC’s Indigenous Radio Unit. The discussion will be followed by an audience Q&A.
Taking place on the opening weekend of the artist's latest work at the MCA, Once Again... (Statues Never Die) (2022), this conversation provides an opportunity to learn more about Julien’s work and career. Renowned for his multi-screen installations, the artist seamlessly fuses film, photography and installation to address issues of race, gender and cultural identity.
