This is an exhibition of embroidery, story and survival. Each piece reflects cultural heritage, resilience and hope - preserving traditional techniques while providing vital income and independence.

Hoori Handmade is a social enterprise supporting Afghan women artisans who have been stripped of many of their basic rights under Taliban rule. Through their embroidery, they preserve their cultural heritage, earn an income, support their families, and create hope for a better future.

Every handcrafted piece reflects the lived realities, strength and creativity of the woman who made it. Designed by the artisan herself, each piece is unique and bears witness to experiences that deserve to be seen, heard, and remembered.

By purchasing a piece, you directly support Afghan women artisans as they rebuild their lives with dignity through their own skills
