Taking inspiration from Alchemical books from the 1400s, this 8 week course will delve into the historic 'Germany Chancery' script. Using traditional dip pens and ink, you'll gain confidence in writing the lowercase and uppercase variants, forming whole paragraphs.

Contents:

  • Lowercase with variations

  • Uppercase including flourished variations

  • Spacing, joining and calligraphic rhythm

  • Decorative versals

Where: Rikota Studios, Studio 10, Marrickville

When: 8x Mondays: Feb 16, 23, March 2, 9, 16, 23, 30, April 10 2026

Please note Monday 6th April is skipped because it falls on Easter Monday.

Time: 6:15-7:45pm [1.5 hrs]
