Refugee Week storytime 3-5 yrs - Surry Hills Library

When

Wednesday 19 June 2024 from 11:30am to 12pm

Join us for a special themed storytime this week, in celebration of Refugee Week - Finding Freedom with a focus on family. Enjoy a fun morning of songs, rhymes, stories, and crafts in celebration of Refugee Week.

The storytime will be led by a guest storyteller Sarab Shada, who is originally from Baghdad, Iraq, resettled in Sydney 5 years ago with her family, and is now a head teacher at an international school in Sydney CBD.

This program is best suited to children aged 3-5 and their carers, however, all ages are welcome.

We aim to deliver inclusive and accessible events. If you have any particular access or communication needs please contact Olivia Kelly, Programs Coordinator on 9265 9333 or okelly@cityofsydney.nsw.gov.au
