Wednesday 21 May from 11:30am to 12:30pm

Every year on the same date and same time, libraries, schools, childcare centres, family homes and many other places across the country join in to read the same picture book together.

National Simultaneous Storytime (NSS) is held annually by the Australian Library and Information Association (ALIA). This year, come join us for a reading of The Truck Cat written by Deborah Frenkel, illustrated by Danny Snell.

Join us at one of the locations below to be part of millions of others reading together across the country. The session will be followed by a fun craft activity for all. 

Reserve your tickets now to join us at one of our branches:

11:30am arrival for midday reading.

After the reading children will receive a free copy of the book and enjoy a craft activity.

 This event will be hosted by library team.

  • This activity is suitable for persons aged 2-5 years and their carer

  • Places are limited, bookings are preferred.
