National Simultaneous Storytime with ALIA and Scholastic

Wednesday 22 May from 11:30am to 12:30pm

Hear award winning author and illustrator Aura Parker read her book Bowerbird Blues at the official National Simultaneous Storytime. Held at the state-of-the art Green Square Library.

11:30am arrival for midday reading.

After the reading children will receive a free copy of the book and enjoy a craft activity.

  • Suitable for all ages

  • This event will be live-streamed via Scholastic's Facebook page, attendees may be filmed.

  • Places are limited. Bookings are essential.

National Simultaneous Storytime (NSS) is held annually by the Australian Library and Information Association (ALIA). Every year a picture book, written and illustrated by an Australian author and illustrator, is read simultaneously in libraries, schools, pre-schools, family day cares, childcare centres, family homes, bookshops and many other places around the country.

Aura Parker is an award-winning illustrator, writer and designer. Her picture books are joyful with a playful sense of humour, brimming with details to explore.
