This acoustic music bears the musical voices of two renowned masters with decades of national and international experience and influences from diverse parts of the world where improvisation is central to music making.
Matt and Guy are looking forward to reunite for this Local Edition performance. Their maiden album - 2@1 - was released in 2008/2009 on Birdland Records and the nominated for ‘Best jazz album of the year' in 2009 at the Australian Independent Recording Awards.
Between them, they have performed with local and international artists such as Vince Jones, Sandy Evans, Dale Barlow, Don Burrows, Pt Ashok Roy, Ross Edwards, Steve Hunter, Mike Stern, Bobby Previte, Wynton Marsalis, Sandy Evans, Vishwa Mohan Bhatt, Ashok Roy, Martin Taylor, Slava Grigoryan.
