Ride to the Cove: A Guided City Loop

Join us for a guided ride from Prince Alfred Park to the stunning Marrinawi Cove at Barangaroo—we will point out some fabulous swimming spots. No swim is required, just scenic stops and stories along the way.

We'll take a relaxed 10 km loop on bike-friendly routes through the city centre and historic Rocks district, stopping at Marrinawi Cove to enjoy the views. From there, we’ll roll back via Cockle Bay Wharf, pass the Sydney Aquarium, cruise by Darling Harbour and ride part of the new Glebe to Ultimo cycleway on our return to Prince Alfred Park.

Riding isn’t just about getting from A to B—it’s about connection. Share the journey, meet new people, and get inspired to plan your own adventures.

Details:

  • Arrival: 12:45pm for a 1:00pm roll out

  • Bring:

  • Your own bike and helmet (with pumped-up tyres!)

  • A bike lock

  • Water and snacks

  • Sunscreen or wet weather gear, depending upon the weather

  • Children: Riders under 18 must be accompanied by an adult

Bookings required.

We encourage participants to complete the Cycling in the City course before joining a guided ride. The Cycling in the City course will equip you with the skills you need to ride in Sydney.

Guided rides are led by professional guides from Pedal Set Go.
