There’s growing evidence that good access is good for business. Research from Monash University shows that for every dollar businesses spend on better access, there is a $13 return on investment.
More than 4.4 million or 1 in 6 Australians experience disability. Businesses that make it easier to buy products and services by improving access and inclusion have been found to have twice as much selling power.
Becoming more accessible and inclusive doesn’t have to be hard. There are simple actions you can make to improve your customer service, physical environment, and communication to be more welcoming of people with disability.
