Ghost in The Rocks Returns

This year, the ghosts of The Rocks will transform the old quarter into their haunted playground of wild parties, immersive experiences, and street shows. Expect epic costumes, DJ sets, and killer food and cocktail creations across four fright-filled nights.

The dead don’t rest… and Ghost Festival is back. From October 30 to November 2, Sydney’s only Halloween street festival returns, bringing ghoulish glam, terrifying theatre, and dance floors that’ll keep you moving until 1am. Last year, over 115,000 souls descended on The Rocks—this year promises even more.

• Poliakov’s Haunted Woods serves freakishly good eats from Messina, Gong Cha, and more, alongside chilling cocktails at the Vodka Bar, while the main stage keeps the party alive with monster DJ beats.

• Sydney’s Halloween Market on Playfair Street transforms from daytime artisan stalls and treats into a night market of eerie sounds, glowing pumpkins, witches, and wicked finds.

• Ghost Cinema at Cadmans Cottage returns with cult classics like The Exorcist and The Corpse Bride, plus roaming performers and immersive scares.

• Party With the Dead at the sell-out House of Horrors Party or sip eerie cocktails at The Murder Bar, complete with a live mystery experience.

• Before you dance or sleuth, step into Reese’s Ghoul’s Gate 360° booth after a pro makeup transformation, and enter Sydney’s Best Halloween Costume contest.
