After a very successful musical career in Johannesburg he decided to explore the music scene in Australia in 1998. He has proven to be the ideal person to introduce Afrobeat, Soukous, and Zouk (French Afro Caribbean) music to the Australian audiences.
The African Diaspora packed in the crowds at major festivals across the country including the Global Carnival in Bellingen and the World Music Festival in Thredbo, in Canberra, Melbourne…. They’ve also been a regular feature during Australia Day celebrations in Sydney (Darling Harbour and Hyde Park).
On stage they steam through a carefully crafted mixture of originals and classic African grooves.
